Linkside Villa 44

We have been staying at 44 Linkside for over twenty years and love our family memories with our children and grands. It is a quite, safe and a beautiful location. Over the years we have seen a lot of maintenance and improvement. As we have aged the stairs, however, have become quite a challenge. The four steps from main bedroom present a real danger as there is no hand rail. My wife fell backward going up and landed against the wall but fortunately was not severely injured. This needs IMMEDIATE attention to avoid someone being injured in the future. We do not like the pillows in main bedroom. There are many positives to this unit and small investments could make it a great place and safer too.

This villa could be very nice with some much needed and inexpensive improvements! 1) The chairs on the deck are covered in filth, so you cannot sit in them. 2) All of the blinds are cheap, but the ones in master bedroom at sliding glass door are missing a 1/4 of the blinds. No privacy or safety because anyone can look in from golf course. 3) NOTHING extra in kitchen. If you need something, bring it! 4) Worst bed pillows, sheets and bath towels. *semi cleaned, but not fully clean villa I would love to see less than a $1000 invested in this villa to improve it. Would be so easy to make these changes! I rent (almost) monthly from Island Realty and probably won’t rent this one again.

I have stayed in probably 4 different units in the Linkside Villa over the last 10 years and this is the worst equipped one. It didn't have spices in the kitchen, beach towels, only had 2 adult bikes and 1 child bike, and the grill had a lock on it. The location is amazing and the pool is fantastic.

We had a really nice family vacation here. The beds were all comfortable (although the main bedroom could use fitted sheets with deeper pockets, as the corners kept popping off!). The villa feels spacious, and the kitchen is clean and had decent supplies (it's a little weird there are 2 dining tables, one which your legs don't really fit under...). We missed having an outdoor dining space, and FYI, the guest bath (upstairs) seemed to have water damage/mold on the ceiling and should be checked out. Also, the main bedroom blinds need repair and were broken when we arrived (a little awkward, since it's right on the golf course, but we were able to get them to mostly close). Some furniture/carpet feels a little tired, but it's vacation place at the beach, so ok. The pool is quite nice, and the tennis courts super convenient. Our biggest complaint is that the walk to the beach was farther than we'd been told it was, and longer than it looks on the map. It was probably a 3.75/5 for us (if you're a golfer, you'd likely love the location).

Villa 44 was nice. The carpet seemed old as well as some of the cushioned furniture. There were not enough towel provided and the kitchen lacked essentials. Great location, plenty of space for everyone.

The condo was really nice. The area was secluded and quiet. Loved seeing wildlife daily, especially the deers. Very relaxing! The only down side was all the stairs when
you older. Getting luggage up and down was a challenge. Only thing that would of been better is beach front.

We have stayed in this unit before and it is nice. However I feel the ownership needs to clean out the garage. It is super dirty. There is sand everywhere and old chairs and bikes just randomly laying around. I like the location close to golf and the beach.

This is a great property! Very close to the pool and tennis courts, and just a few blocks from the beach...none of the reviews told us exactly where to go for the beach, but it is written on the fridge where to enter. The property itself had everything we needed, and the master bathroom is huge! Only minor complaint was we did a load of laundry, and when I checked the clothes in the dryer, when you open the dryer door, the clothes don’t stop spinning, you have to turn the cycle to “off“, which I’ve never seen before, so be careful of any small children are checking the dryer. Overall would definitely stay here again!

We loved the separation of the 3 bedrooms/bathrooms on different levels. The main living area stayed warmer than the rest of the unit, but that was the only downside. It was very clean and the pool was also nice. I would recommend it.

The villa had been renovated and we loved it! We’ve stayed here many times but it was really nice this time. Only thing that would have made it better would have been golf cart. However, we rented one. Overall, it was a great and our happy place to make memories.

Great location right on the golf course. A bit of a hike to the beach but the pool area was very nice and also has basketball, tennis etc. Nicely redone inside. The beds in the two bed room really need t be replaced. They are too hard. My 13 year old slept on the sofa because he said they were so hard. And he will sleep any where. Other beds were fine. It is a really nice place...

We had a really nice visit to this property. It is very clean and has been nicely updated. We had plenty of space to spread out. It is somewhat close to a beach access but you will need to rent a golf cart to get to it easily. The unit has a golf cart but is designated only for the owner's use now. There is a hose in the garage that you can pull out into the driveway to hose off sand but this was not terribly convenient. We found ourselves wishing for an outdoor shower so as to not track sand all through the unit.
The kitchen was well equipped and has nice windows that let in a good amount of light. The bar was a nice spot for my kids to sit and eat.
The mattresses were very hard and could stand to be replaced soon.
Overall though we were very happy with our stay and would consider staying there again.

This was a great villa for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed the golf cart, bicycles and beach toys for the children. The house was very well furnished and the kitchen was plenty big. The parking was lacking, however. We had a couple of guests over and they had to park down the street. The pool was very nice and the beach was pretty close. Bring your own beach towels. Overall, it was a very enjoyable weekend. We hope to go back.

Very nice community and nicely kept grounds. This villa could use a slight facelift but was very nice overall. It was clean, housed our party very well, but there are a few structural damages that should be repaired. (Ceiling in shower, has crumbling plaster) But pretty nice overall.

We had a fabulous time--Beach was very easy to find and having the golf cart made it even easier to get to. Charleston was easy as well to get to. Only 1 minor complaint, thinking the dryer needs repair--made high pitch noise and took a little long (told island realty when we left- so wasn't much of a problem)--but was so glad to have it! The place was very clean and comfortable to stay. Will definitely come back to stay here and have already recommended it to friends!!!
